The Kazakh-Singapore Business Forum took place on March 27th in Almaty
The Kazakh-Singapore Forum, which was organized by Arman Holding, Singapore Business Federation and the Chamber of Commerce of Almaty, took place on March 27th.
The history of Kazakh-Singapore relations dates back more than 20 years. Today, Kazakhstan and Singapore are active business partners. Cooperation between the two countries is increasing steadily in many areas.
The purpose of the forum was to enable local companies to meet potential partners from Singapore. Representatives of Singaporean companies were acquainted with the numerous opportunities on offer in Kazakhstan.
In the plenary session Serikbay Bisekeev, the founder and President of the Holding Company, delivered two presentations: outlining the "Formula for Success of Arman Holding" and Armtel's international experience.
More than 100 delegates represented business in Kazakhstan today. The Singaporean side was represented by top executives from companies such as Eurasia Strategix Pte Ltd, Flotech Controls Pte Ltd, Gobi Management (Singapore) Pte Ltd, etc. as well as representatives of the Singapore Business Federation and the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Singapore.
Numerous fruitful individual business meetings took place between Kazakh and Singaporean companies.
In addition, guests invited to the Forum included representatives of the Royal Bank of Scotland and the investment company Kaznex.
In accordance with the canons of Kazakh hospitality, the Forum ended with a business dinner at a restaurant serving local cuisine.
