«Entrepreneur of the year 2014»
On February 19, 2015, audit and consulting firm Ernst &
Young held a ceremony in Almaty to award Kazakhstan's "Entrepreneur of the Year 2014". The award for the category "Successful start-up in 2014" was presented by Serikbay Bisekeev to Sanzhar Altaev, the Director General of Alma Cloud. Serikbay Bisekeev: "Let it not be said that everything is relative. In Kazakhstan, unlike in other CIS countries, we are continually putting conditions in place that are necessary for the development of entrepreneurship. As far as I am aware, Russia - with its vast territory and human resources - doesn't provide the same sort of support that Kazakhstan does. Our Government's support in the development of SMEs can set an example to other CIS countries! "
