Is the population in need of financial literacy?

As Donald Trump says: "Financial illiteracy is a huge problem. People constantly become entangled in dangerous situations just because that they were not prepared "

There are many examples of people suffering from their financial illiteracy, where they have borrowed without an understanding of what it can lead to. In my opinion, the government should conduct a serious educational campaign. In this country, nobody is developing financial literacy in the proper way and the people who suffer are forced to work all their lives to pay off their debts. Therefore, it seems to me that first of all, companies in Kazakhstan need to look for means to improve their employees' competences and salary levels. Secondly, people should be made to understand that "living on credit" as a result of consumer lending is not always the wisest thing to do. After all, in actual fact there is an alternative.

Another thing that I always try to get through to people is that they shouldn't rely on the state - be self-sufficient and plan your own life, always put your savings aside and invest in something that brings you a steady income! Live according to your means!

Meanwhile, people can become happier and freer when they realise that they are perceived as an individual - as an interesting and professional person. And this freedom means a lot. One can begin investing in education to improve one's competences and become a more highly-paid employee, to study in other countries and develop one's horizons. If a person is free to make his own choices about work and travel, he will without fail be able to achieve success.

Earn, save up and buy without credit!
