The well-known businessman was assigned as a Vice-President of the Club of Scientists

On June 27, 2013 by decision of the Coordinating Council of the “Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists” Association (EECSA) Serik N.Nugerbekov, the deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, co-chairman of the Coordinating Council of EECSA handed a letter of thanks to Serikbay Bisekeev, the founder and owner of Arman Company, for his contribution to the organization of the annual Astana Economic Forum and the World Anti-Crisis Conference, support of the Foundation “Club of Nobel Laureates”, promoting the development of science and education, and he was given the status of Vice-President of the “Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists” Association.

Serikbay Bisekeev began his career in 1990 in the field of high-tech solutions in B2B. In 2000 he founded Arman Company, appearing in the “Forbes” list, which over the years has overcome the way from the supplier of German communications equipment for industry to the manufacturer and a global leader in technology and system integration. In 2012, he received a nomination in Russia “Entrepreneur of the Year.”

Mr. Bisekeev plans to move to Singapore where he will oversee the development of cooperation of the Eurasian Club of Scientists and the countries of Southeast Asia.

Background: In June 2007, during the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan A. Nazarbayev has announced an initiative to create a “Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists”.

In March 2008, in Astana at the meeting of the Coordinating Council, was made a decision to host I Astana Economic Forum as the main platform for dialogue of the founded club. The President Nursultan Nazarbayev was elected as an Honorary President of the Association.

On May 22-24, 2013 the VI Astana Economic Forum and the World Anti-crisis Conference were held with the participation of more than 12,500 delegates, including about 3,200 foreign delegates from 136 countries around the world, 10 Nobel Prize winners, 30 heads of international organizations, 40 presidents and heads of TNCs, 10 heads of the world media and more than 320 official representatives of UN Member States, including about 80 heads of ministries and central banks.

“Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists” Association was created to bring together efforts of scientists, economists and practitioners, civil society and international organizations representatives to address issues of economic development and promotion of economic and social advancement of the global community.
